The Consell Balear de la Producció Agrària Ecològica

The Consell Balear de la Producció Agrària Ecològica (CBPAE) is a subdivision of the Council of Agriculture. It was created for acting as the unique authority that can controls Organic Farming production at Balearic Islands. So, all producers and enterprises who would like to join at Organic Farming label must register their activities and remain under CBPAE supervision.

            CBPAE has a qualification comittee in which there are experts in Organic Farming that certify products by European regulations (CEE)  2092/91 of June 24^th about Organic Farming Production.

            CBPAE provides:

·       Control the fullfilment of European regulations

·       Guarantee organics products and certify them by bearing a label

·       Facilitate commercialisation of organic products

·       Promote Organic farming production.
